Go Conference miniとは？

Go Conference miniは、プログラミング言語Goに関する地域カンファレンスです。昨年の仙台での開催に続き、今年は京都で開催します！

学生枠・京都府社会人枠

Goコミュニティの裾野を広げ、地域のコミュニティで活躍する方を応援する目的で、3枠ずつ以下の枠を設けています。

• 現地参加-学生枠 / On-Site students: 学生の方（社会人学生は除きます）
• 現地参加-京都府社会人枠 / On-Site Kyoto resident and worker: 京都府に在住または通勤されていて、学生枠に当てはまらない方

状況に応じて運営スタッフが応募資格を確認させていただくことがございます。

無断キャンセルについての対応

当日都合が悪くなって来れないことが分かった方は、お手数ですが速やかにキャンセル処理をお願いします。 無断キャンセルを行った方には、次回以降のGo Conferenceイベントの参加の優先順位を下げさせて頂く可能性があります。具体的には、以下のように無断キャンセルを行った方を対象といたします。

• 当日受付処理が行われなかった
• キャンセルが募集期間を過ぎて行った

このような処置をいたします理由としては、無断キャンセルによって参加できない方を減らしたいという意図から行っております。

なお、こちらの手違いでキャンセル処理をされた方は大変お手数ですが、kyotogo-staffs@googlegroups.com までご連絡をいただけますと幸いです。

• 新型コロナウィルスの感染拡大等の不測の事態により、開催形態の変更・延期・中止等を行う可能性があります。
• 現在、スポンサーの募集は行っておりません。
• 会場内では、運営スタッフによる写真撮影や配信が行われる予定です。それらは、SNSやブログに掲載される場合がありますので、撮影されると問題がある場合は参加時のアンケートにてその旨をご回答おねがいいたします。
• SNS等で発信される場合は、公序良俗に反する内容とならないよう、ご配慮をお願いいたします。

What is Go Conference mini?

Go Conference mini is a regional conference on the Go programming language. Following last year's event in Sendai, this year it will be held in Kyoto!

While we've reached our limit for general participants, dedicated seats will be make available for speakers.

• Please register via connpass even if you plan to be a speaker.
• Speakers are requested to participate on-site.
• Travel and accommodation expenses will not be subsidized.
• Simultaneous interpretation will not be provided. Speakers are requested to present in English or Japanese.

How to join the conference?

Please register for the event from this page.

If you are a new user of connpass, please refer to the connpass User's Guide, Register as a member and Attend the event (in Japanese). If you need a support, contact us.

Currently, the slots for 現地参加 / On-Site are full, but the organizing team is considering increasing the number of available slots. If additional slots are made available, they will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, so please register in advance and wait on the waiting list.

Priority Slots

To diversify the Go community and support local and student gophers, we have reserved three slot for students and three for local residents.

• 現地参加-学生枠 / On-Site students: For students, excluding those who are working.
• 現地参加-京都府社会人枠 / On-Site Kyoto resident and worker: For individuals residing or working in Kyoto Prefecture, who do not meet the student quota.

Eligibility may be verified depending on circumstances.

Response regarding Unauthorized Cancellations

For those who have found themselves unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances on the day of the event, we kindly request prompt cancellation processing. Participants who engage in unauthorized cancellations may have their priority for future Go Conference events lowered. Specifically, the following criteria will be applied to individuals who perform unauthorized cancellations:

• Failure to complete the on-site check-in process on the event day.
• Cancellation performed after the application period has ended.

The reason for implementing these measures is to reduce the number of participants who are unable to attend due to unauthorized cancellations.

If, due to our error, you have been subjected to cancellation processing, we apologize for the inconvenience. Kindly contact us at kyotogo-staffs@googlegroups.com. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

• The event may be changed, postponed, or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, such as the infection of a new type of coronavirus.
• Currently, no sponsorships are available for this event.
• Within the venue, there are plans for photo shooting and broadcasting by the organizing staff. As these may be posted on social media or blogs, if you have any concerns about being photographed, kindly indicate so in the survey conducted at the time of your participation.
• In the event of sharing on social media and similar platforms, we kindly ask for your consideration to ensure that the content does not violate public order and morals.

Anti-Harassment Policy

If the organizer asks participants to stop such harassment, they must immediately follow the instructions.
